9TH GRADE TREBLE CHOIR
6th Period
The Lassiter 9th Grade Treble Choir is made up of freshmen from Lassiter's two feeder middle school choral programs who come together to begin their journey as members of the Lassiter Chorus. Throughout the year, students learn the discipline, responsibility, and commitment that define the Lassiter Chorus while building a strong musical foundation through ear training, basic music theory, and sight-singing. As they develop healthy vocal technique and ensemble skills, singers also gain the confidence and musicianship needed to successfully transition into one of Lassiter's upper-level choirs. By the end of the year, students are well prepared to choose or audition for the ensemble that best fits their musical goals and continue their growth as choral musicians.
