Varsity Letter Opportunity
The Lassiter Chorus Varsity Letter Program recognizes students who consistently demonstrate commitment, leadership, excellence, and service throughout the school year. Unlike athletic teams that compete during one season, chorus students earn their letter through sustained participation over an entire academic year. Students accumulate points by participating in performances, rehearsals, leadership, service, musical enrichment, and other activities that strengthen both themselves and the program. The varsity letter is one of the highest honors a chorus student can earn. Students may earn points in a variety of ways, including:

Letter Point Deadlines
Students should regularly submit point requests throughout the year rather than waiting until spring.Activities that require verification should include appropriate documentation, such as:
- Concert programs
- Event registration confirmations
- Certificates
- Teacher verification
- Volunteer sign-in records
Requests submitted after the published deadline may not be accepted. Developing responsibility for tracking accomplishments is an important part of the lettering process.
