Meet the LCBA Board

The Lassiter Choral Booster Association is made up of parents just like you who volunteer a small amount of time to help make our chorus program successful. Most board positions require only a few hours each month, and many responsibilities can be completed from home. Whether you enjoy organizing, decorating, taking photos, or simply lending a helping hand, there's a place for everyone.

Mishelle Lewis, President

• Leads the LCBA and works closely with the choral director.
• Presides over monthly board meetings.
• Helps coordinate the overall direction and vision of the organization.

Erika Emerick, Vice President

• Assists the President with booster activities and special projects.
• Coordinates volunteers for concerts and events.
• Currently manages the Lassiter Chorus spirit wear & unniform inventory

Heather McKelvey, Secretary

• Records meeting minutes.
• Maintains organizational records.
• Assists with board communication and correspondence.

Elizabeth Glasgow, Treasurer

• Oversees the finances of the Booster Association.
• Processes deposits, payments, reimbursements, and budgets.
• Maintains financial records using QuickBooks.

Angela Forsyth, Membership Chair

• Welcomes new LCBA members.
• Coordinates reserved seating for concerts.
• Maintains membership records and member benefits.

Jamilie Radar, Banquet Chair

• Plans the annual Chorus Awards Banquet.
• Coordinates decorations, catering, volunteers, and event logistics.
• Helps create a memorable celebration for every chorus student.

Marilyn Leister & Shauna Campbell, Fundraising Co-Chairs

• Organize fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
• Help keep student costs affordable.
• Support projects that directly benefit the chorus program.

Historian Chair

• Coordinates volunteers to capture photos and videos at concerts and events.
• Helps preserve memories for social media, the website, and chorus publications.
• No professional photography experience is required!

Inventory Chair

• Helps with Uniform Fitting Night at the beginning of the school year.
• Maintains inventory of formal concert attire. 
• Maintains inventory of Lassiter Chorus spirit wear and apparel.
• Helps ensure students have the appropriate attire for performances and special events.

Zelda Johns, Senior Driveway Art Coordinator

• Coordinates our senior driveway art tradition.
• Organizes volunteers and scheduling.
• Helps celebrate our graduating seniors in a fun and memorable way.

Paul Marek, Webmaster

• Maintains and updates the Lassiter Chorus website throughout the year.
• Posts announcements, calendars, forms, and important program information.
• Updates the online Chorus Store with dues, spirit wear, tickets, and special events.
• Helps ensure families always have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

Member(s)-at-Large

• Provides additional support wherever it is needed throughout the year.
• Assists with concerts, special events, fundraising, and other booster activities.
• A great example of how parents can make a meaningful impact without serving in a specific chair position.

We'd Love to Have You Join Us!

LCBA meets once a month for about an hour, and most volunteer roles require just a few hours each month. Whether you can help at one event or serve throughout the year, your time makes a tremendous difference.

No experience is necessary! Our board is made up of chorus parents who enjoy supporting students and building a strong, welcoming community. We'd love for you to join us!
